Weild & Co. is building the first major-bracket decentralized investment bank, a national platform that brings experienced, independent bankers together to serve companies, funds, investors, and distribution partners. Our strength is connecting every side of a transaction and bringing senior judgment to all of it.
We understand what traditional Wall Street structure often overlooks, and how it can work against the people building and backing companies. We built a firm without those conflicts: we do not operate a trading desk, our clients' interests never compete with our own, and senior bankers remain involved in every engagement.

David Weild IV
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Weild & Co. was founded by David Weild IV, the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Weild & Co. He previously served as Vice Chairman of The Nasdaq Stock Market, where he led the Corporate Client Division with responsibility for Nasdaq's listed companies. There he created the Market Intelligence Desk, the Corporate Services Network, and the dual-listing strategy that brought companies including Charles Schwab and Hewlett-Packard to Nasdaq.
A recognized expert on capital markets and capital formation, David is regarded by many as the father of the JOBS Act for co-authoring the studies that first identified the long-term structural decline in the IPO and listed-company markets. He has testified before the U.S. Congress, the SEC, the OECD, and the European Commission, and after September 11 he worked alongside Nasdaq, the SEC, the U.S. Treasury, and Congress to help reopen the U.S. stock markets. Over his career he has participated in managing more than 1,000 public equity offerings.
